Excellent post man.

Including all you said plus he probably never had a proper diet to build his body well. Which might be part of why he moved up in weight so well, because he was fighting malnourished in the earlier part of his career. Now he is fighting very healthy and with proper training in par with other world class fighters who been having such treatment since early age.

Did you not read through this topic at all? Cotto's jab WAS NOT WORKING after Round 2, because Manny figured it out and was able to anticipate Cotto's counter jab and slipped straight lefts and right hooks.

Once he built an insurmountable lead, and once Cotto had NO CONFIDENCE in his jab to the point where he threw it with no real conviction save for a few times after Round 6, Manny didn't even bother beating Cotto's jab and instead walked through it.

It's also pretty clear that the first round was a ruse by Pacquiao, who actually threw much less punches than he usually does.

 

Wether Pac was being "outboxed" or not, Cotto was still losing almost every round in the second part of the fight. Easily.

Pacquiao was frustrated cause he wanted to knock Cotto out, but he was still banking rounds one after another.

If Cotto was really outboxing Pacquiao at any point in the fight, it sure as hell doesn't show up in the scorecards.

To be fair it makes sense why he is so highly rated, apparently Cotto getting his faced smashed in and running away is him outboxing. Therefore, he is indeed a sensational boxer, going by that logic of course...

 

He was outjabbing him, that's for sure.
Pacquiao was just too fast and angular.

 

Some of these cats that are saying that Pac only beat Cotto cause of steroids are the same guys that were here before the fight saying that Pac looked scared at the weigh in and he would run from Cotto,these guys built up Cotto to be something that he isnt and now they have to find some excuse (roids) for themselves and for Cotto.

The guy just got beat by the better fighter.

 

If he was on roids he wouldn't have been forced to 'turn it up' by roach. roach kept telling pac he was being too nice.
