..damn this fight never fail to heighten up my adrenaline watching these fighters go at each other as if there lives depend on it. Which had me thinking on how would the upcoming rising stars of the FW division(JML,Gambao,Caba) would fair against Pac that lost to EM in the first fight and to EM who lost in the 2nd. I mean even though they lost on each respective fight, I can't help but think that these warriors would still be too much for the upcomers. Just my opinion. What do you guys think?
Your right, they would still be too much. Ps. EM & Pac had their trilogy at SFW, not FW tho but I get your point :good
These 2 were ATGS. Put Vasquez, Rafa, Juanma, Gamboa against these 2 and they will be grounded at 130. Pac & EM has Ironed Chin, The present crops of Feathers will be no match.
I remember watching the first fight thinking that it should have been scored a draw, but the blood dripping down Mannys face influences the judges. Whenever I say that now, people call me a ******* and what not, but thats how I saw it. At the time I didnt know much about Manny but had followed Eriks career.
I still think that there are two major things that contributed to Pac losing that fight. 1. He didn't take a tune-up to fill in to the 130lb limit. He went right after Morales. Pac had only had 3 fights at 126 up to that point so he should've at least taken a tune up at 130 before facing a guy the caliber of Morales. 2. He was cut right above the eye by an accidental headbutt in the 5th. Which means that he fought almost 7 rounds with a cut right above his lead eye. Considering he only lost by 2 point on all cards, I believe that he could've won if not for those things. I hate to take credit away from Morales because that was still an amazing victory and performance regardless of the circumstances. People will say that I'm just saying excuses but those two points are facts and no more an excuse than saying Morales was past his best when he got knocked out by Pac.
Yes they will, still I wonder how Pacquio got his chin back.
