How the hell did froch win this fight. Dirrell has shown flashes of prime jones and whitaker in this fight with his amazing speed and head movement. What froch did is land punches to the air and hit Dirrell on the back of his head. By the way, Froch is way too overrated nowadays because of his victory over Arthur "The human punching bag" Abraham.
Froch did catch Dirrell a few good times coming off the ropes and from the corner and in clinches, but overall Dirrell won it
He lost b/c he was fighting in an undefeated champion in England, and everytime he landed anything he would either run or hold him. He lost b/c he was so defensive. He did make Froch seem like he is more akward than he is, but he fought the whole fight except the last round like he was afraid of him.
interesting. This topic hasn't been discussed very much on here. Only once a day for the last year or so
And of course the crowd cheered Froch while he was hitting the air because of Dirrell's superior head movement.
He did himself no favours with all the whining and complaining. When fighters act like that in the ring, it makes them look like they are losing, and I reckon it probably cost him a round or two. As has been said a million times already on here, it was a pretty close fight and its easy enough to score it legitimately in Frochs favour.
There is no way you can score the fight for Froch using the rules of boxing. Let me see what rounds you gave Froch.
Dirrell landed the cleaner punches Froch landed more glancing punches but a glance is still a connect. Froch forced the fight. Dirrell ran. Dirrell grabbed over and over and over again anytime Froch connected. Froch won. Stop complaing Dirrell fanboys your man cowered from a fight with his Olympic buddy and faked an injury to gtet out of it.
Why are you arguing about the result? At the end of the day, it was Dirrells fault that he lost that fight. God knows what goes on in that head of his. With the skills that he has, he should have really got a UD over Froch, but instead tried to run around the ring like he was shitting out hot pepper sauce. At the end of the day, blame Dirrell for acting like an arse for the past 2 years. He should be in the finals of the super six but instead is doing.......
Dirrell's cautious tactics cost him that fight yeah I thought Dirrell shaded the fight but you have do way more than what he did to win a Title never mind in the Champs backyard.
:nono. The crowd also played an important role in this fight. They were even cheering in some parts of the fight where Froch actually did not hit anything other than the air.
