    I was expecting Matthysse to break him :D...but man that kid is tough as fck. ended up p1ssing blood but that damage sure didn't show in the fight...and Lucas took many bombs as well with his compromised eyesight. Wouldn't mind seeing it again...

    danny won clearly, he fought smart and beat lucas up pretty good, danny took several huge bombs and didn't even blink. a rematch would be nice because it was a good fight.

    He actually fought dirty, which is smart against Lucas in a way I guess.

    I'm not a fan of dirty tactics but you can't just say it was close had the ref done this or that

    Its like saying Kessler beat Ward had he DQd him for excessive clinching

    I think he did what he had to do in order to win the fight, which I give him some credit for. However I don't really consider clinching, running and intentional low blows a "great fight"

    Danny was holding on like Pepe Le Pew.
    That BS ruled knockdown was the difference in the fight, imo.
    Don't expect a rematch
