Pot shot and clinch. Marg is way to slow anyway. Mosley had good defense against Marg.

Difference is the speed in footwork that Hatton used and that of Margo.

Margo ALSO throws wide shots as well

and lets not forget he allowed himself to be punched in the face ALONE a whopping 1k plus it might have even been more

    COMPLETE SHUT-OUT....Baldo style!

If Mosley could clinch Floyd could do the same thing. If Cotto knew how to clinch he would have beat Marg.

    You really think that??

Oh my god. Mayweather destroyed Hatton. He let him come on to him and do his thing because he knew he would gas. Yes Hatton looked good for a few rounds but Mayweather won the fight in the way he wanted to and didnt look troubled for much of the fight.

Marg vs Floyd would be the same, on Marg would not get KOd. Floyd is made for come forward fighters and Marg is to slow and unskilled to trouble him.

Rewatch the first 4 rounds of Cotto-Marg - Mayweather does that more effectively for 12rounds, Margs feet are just stuck in cement

He would bring his track shoes and run the entire fight.

Too bad the coward chickened out of that fight.

That would have been a classic for those who like track & field.

you understand that's the point right - marg was taking big shots but still landing his own. eating leather to land some leather.

Mayweather would have had what you people call his track shoes on and pot shotted margo all night.

After the fight merchant would have called floyd a coward who didn't want to trade, while roy jones would have called mayweather smart, that right there was a boxing clinic.

After that people would have said what we all already knew, margo was flat footed punching bag with no defence and mayweather needs to fight someone who can stick and move.

Repeat cycle after he beats someone who can stick and move i.e Marquez.

Hatton was a great fight for Mayweather, cause Hattons pressure meant Mayweather had to fight all night, and show his strength and toughness, as well as skills.

Mayweather has said Hatton was one of his toughest fights.

Yes he outclassed him but he had to put in the work to outclass him.
