This is what really impressive me with floyd, he literally fights the majority of his fights in his head, he knows when he is up, he knows when he is down, he can calculate hit percentage in his head to know if he ahead in a round. This truly is a gift. He get's criticised for fighting very cautiously but I think it is genius in motion, until someone is able to make mayweather fight every second of every round, we will continue to get what i call a one sided boxing clinic. The problem with that is that when someone finally does push mayweather onto the edge of defeat, just like nazim, said the dragon will be unleashed, and a lot of people have forgotten about that dragon within floyd, when you finally see it again in the pac fight, you will bow your heads in awe at how great this man really is.:deal
****** May avoided Margarito like the plauge. Talk about getting called out, Margarito asked Floyd for a fight right to his face. Part of Floyds success seems to be to know who not to fight. Truth is , I'd pick Floyd over Paq and Margo , but apparently he knows something we all don't know.
i watched this fight recently as well.... ref played a massive part in the fight.... was in rickys face saying his name seperating them everytime Hatton foght close. If you watch the way he beat Kosta Zu (or however u spell it) his style was totally about bullying and fighting close!!
You've watched Pacman spanked Hatton and Mosley. Hatton's a though cookie decided to play pressure against Pacman, and get RFKO in the process within two. Mosley tried to execute a game plan against Pacman and end up running the whole night. What dragon are you talking about again?
Marg was landing little to nothing in the first 5rounds and Cotto doesn't have half the defensive skill of Mayweather. Marg isn't landing anything, his feet and hands are far too slow
It would have been a decisive one sided schooling. Margarito was a slow ass bum who had no business in the ring with Mayweather.
you mean the great 147 pound champ who will fight ANYONE , ANYTIME, fighting a guy in his 2nd fight at welter and 42 at super lightweight? oh and the other fight at welter he ****ing lost to collazo...kinda like bute beating that clown the other night that bika just ko'd in 1. yeah margarito would have been a great fight back then....thats why it wasnt made...
