Darryl said it best...if Floyd really thinks he is so much better than Pac, there should be no need for demands that go above and beyond what is usually done in boxing. Hell, I consider myself as fast runner who can beat just about anybody. I'm confident. I'm not gonna NOT race a guy just because I think he just drank a Red Bull.
What's funny is that I think Floyd beats Pac from the Cotto fight regardless, roids or no. I wish he would drop the demands too, but it is his personal health on the line. I think Floyd didn't really think Pac would have a problem with the test (given that it was agreed upon at first). I think he is sticking to it because Pacs response has made him look like he may actually be using. The only reason someone would go to these lengths to avoid a random drug test is if there is SOMETHING to hide. I can't figure out any other reason to turn down $40 million and a career defining fight.
Pac has an underrated body punching, which even MAB mentioned. That punch is very effective against the constanly ducking below the waistline Mayweather. Headhunting is never effective because he uses his head like an inverted pendulum.
Why don't you give us an analysis of all the other ww floyd hasn't fought .Start with Balco Shane and Antonio Margarito. How can you avoid the fact Floyd will not fight anyone who is in great form ?
The mayor of ****** town ladies and gents! And anyway, I have posted previous articles about why Floyd beats those two, aa well a Cotto. This is a PAC thread.
Cotto tried to stay calm and use his jab in the second round too but Pac countered the **** out of it by timing Cotto with the straight left every time he threw it. That was the beginning of the end.
After watching the fight again I'd have to agree. The reason Cotto seemed to use the jab less effectively wasn't because he stopped using it. By the 2nd Pacquiao got used to the timing of it and was catching Cotto with power shots before the jab would even hit. Cotto just became more reluctant to throw it because he was getting punished for it.
Using your logic... I also don't see any reason why Floyd would turn down $40 million by insisting on a blood test, specially if he thinks Pac is an easy fight. Floyd said he offered 14 days BEFORE THE MEDIATION which Pac declined. They then went into mediation (the purpose of which is to meet in middle ground) and Pac offered 24 days. Floyd declined but did not make a counter offer. Honestly, I think both 14 and 24 days are reasonable. Just egos clashing, they should have met at 19 days so the fight happens.
of course floyd beats all those bums...IN THEORY. floyd doesn't need to actually beat those bums, as long as he has well-educated "real boxing fans" writing theoretical essays on his would-be victories, he'll remain p4p #1 for all time!:deal
