With the sound of, marquez is such a warrior coming back from 3ko's and dominating him like that. This is my card however: r1: 10-6 r2:10-9 r3: 9-10 r4: 9-10 r5:9-10 r6:9-10 r7: 10-9 r8:"10-9 r9:9-10 r10:9-10 r11:9-10 r12:10-9 totaal:113-112 pacquaio I do think round 7 could go either way or be 10-10 so marquez 113-112 or 113-113 is also good i believe, i just thought pac barely won that round. Great fight though:good
Had it a draw. But what amazed me is how fast Pacquiao was and how lively mofo he was then.In the rematch Pac looks shop worn and slowish.I actually thought Marquez won by 1 pt but it's hard to press a counter puncher with the skillz of J.M.M. who just waits and bangs you on the way in.
I didn't want to score this fight watching on youtube so I waited til I got the dvd. I can't find the score sheet I made but this was not a draw IMO. I had it for Pac by at least 2 or 3 points. Even if I had given JMM 1 or 2 of the close rounds it would have been a draw. The second fight was closer to a draw. I had that one 114-113 for Pac.
Even though I thought both fights were Pac wins, they were close epics and I can't fault anyone for seeing them the other way. Marquez saw his best days then and now amount of **** drinking is going to see him beat Pac today. At lightweight or light welter (which would be a fairer fight that that Floyd fight) Pac would KO him late. He's edge his gone, even though 90 percent of the guys out there in those divisions would still loose hard to JMM. I hate to say Katsidis might be in over his head, but I wouldn't be surprised if it looked a lot like the Casamayor fight.
I think I had the 1st one for Pac the 2nd fight I feel like my scoring changes everytime I watch it. I've had it a draw and a win for Marquez and for Pac. It's the 1st round that was tough to score, Marquez landed the biggest punch of the round but Pac landed more... so it depends on what you like I guess.
in the 2nd fight, its the knockdown that made pac won the fight. if marquez wasnt knocked out, he couldve won via UD.
1st fight Pac basically loss the fight, that first round was the only thing that truly saved him, as everyone knows. 2nd fight was close, but I flip flop with who I think won, right now its Marquez, in the past it was pac for me.
I didnt officially score Pac-Marquez 1 but I remember at the end thinking Pac won, especially that I consider round 1 to be 10-6 and that Marquez would have to win almost every round to match that, and while he outboxed Pac and won the event, I think Pac won another round or two in there and that basically has him winning the fight.
