    Spence got tagged cleanly by Old Man Bundu... luckily for him, Bundu is ancient and has no power. Spence is actually also slow with his punches (perhaps because he sets too much) and they seem awfully telegraphed and straight forward. Crackling power, but very, very basic in his delivery. Maybe his size keeps him a force @ 147... But against dudes with power, Spence is in trouble.

    I think Kell Brook w/ a fully-healed eye and not weight-drained is gonna put a beating on this kid.

    So you're saying there's a chance that Brook's eye is not fully healed and he will be weight drained?

    There's a VERY GOOD chance of both those things contributing to a Spence victory.

    Bit surprised really, Brook didn't take an easy tune-up after fighting Golovkin at Middleweight, to find out before tackling someone like Spence Jr.

    He had no choice it was vacate or fight

    I wonder if Hearn is mad inside. They were trying to get Brook to move up and he didnt, Then basically as soon as the fight got signed the 154 IBF belt became vacant, who knows what Hearn could have pulled off but they'd probably have looked at going for that/shot at the winner

    I can't wait for this fight! And since it's in the UK, it won't ruin my Saturday night plans (get stoned, eat ramen, jack off all night).

    Totally agree,Spence may play it different against Brook cause if he starts loading up on everything al a Porter he's gonna play right into Brooks hands,I'm telling you Brook is no joke and is a gonna be a problem for Spence.

    Spence isn't slow. He's just extremely calculated with his punches. His pressure is intelligent. He's not Lemieux, Ruslan, etc where he just goes in like a mad person. Spence will show you why he's so special, and can't wait for this. I'm willing to bet anyone 100 dollars on this fight(obviously with someone middle manning, not even about the money but I know I'd pay if Spence lost, but I don't trust anyone besides a select few). Though I am sort of skeptical due to robberies. If Murata can get robbed in his hometown in a fight he dominated I'm scared that if Spence doesn't finish Brook off he won't get the decision.

    I didn't need to rewatch Spence-Bundu to come to the same conclusion, I realized that while I was watching it the first time.:D

    The way people on this site are dismissively writing off Brook I find jarring, all these people who claim to understand the sweet science so well, yet can't see the ridiculous level of skill that Brook brings to the ring because they're blinded by their pro-American bias is amazing to me. If you can't comprehend the true elite level that Brook is functioning on, then I hate to break it to you, but YDKSAB. Brook is operating near the same level as Terence Crawford.

    Spence is fine, but he's not next level yet, close, but not quite, this is far too soon for him, and he'll be eaten alive by Special K.

    Spence is going to show you why a lot of us have been so high on him. Only way Brook wins is by robbery. It'll be another 1 I predicted correctly on my prediction thread :guitar:.

    Stylistically Brook is all wrong for almost everyone, especially Spence, Spence has deceptively good footwork, but Brook's is immaculate, Spence has decent thudding power, but stops guys from accumulation, Brook is sharper and packs more one punch KO power. You'll be surprised just how similar this match looks to Mayweather-Pacquaio, and just like that fight, the Mayweather (Brook) in this equation beats the Pacquiao (Spence) as well, only by stoppage. Spence has looked remarkable walking down guys WHO LITERALLY CAN'T PUNCH, their KO ratios are embarrassingly bad, basically Malignaggi level, let's see him aggressively walk down a guy who can hurt GGG.

    Yes we will. And I'm equally pumped, I'm equally pumped, and don' worry, it won't be a robbery, because it won't make it to the cards. For the record, I'm not saying any of this because Kell fought GGG, I've been high on Brook for years. (You know that, but others might not)

    I know you're not lmao. You're one of the few beside the Brits who I KNOW have been high on Brook for years. I remember you pick Brook over Porter. I'm kind of annoyed that you assumed that I thought that about you.

    And you're right. It won't make it to the cards. My boy is gonna kill that body, and put Brook away :pesas:. I'm more confident in Spence beating Brook than Ward beating Kovalev in a rematch. I'm usually on the money about prospects being hypejobs(j-rock, vasquez etc), Spence is REAL.
