I think the fight is closer than people want to say. GGG aggressiveness was not as effective as it seems. And Canelo worked the body and landed cleaner punches, which is why the scoring is how it is. Just because a guy backs up does not mean he is not winning, or Leonard would not have beaten Hagler.
What rounds did Canelo win VS Floyd? Canelo edged Trout imo and I thought the Lara fight was 115-113 either way or a draw.
I'm not talking about that. I'm saying what is your motive in literally attempting to refute everything you disagree on even if you know it won't change any minds. I'm sure you would agree that on this thread I've been nothing but fair with you, just let it go, let me have my peace lmao. The way you write countless essays and never shut up is probably a fair depiction of what you are like in real life. I couldn't imagine dealing with someone like you. And saying 114-114 is a decision you don't disagree with is FAR worse than the cry babies whining about every Canelo decision.
This fight is a lesson in scoring. Maybe Byrd was a little biased, but that is the nature of scoring. I do not think she should be banned, she has done a good job as a judge for a long time. Let's try to see what she saw. Maybe she is the one who knows more what happened than all of us. It takes being open minded to what she saw. Wouldn't it be funny if Canelo never fought GGG again and this is how it stood? What is Canelo fights BJ and wins his title and defends that. Either way both guys came out of it looked pretty good.
Dude don't even go there with him. I remember going through video footage and shutting down his arguments, but he won't give it to you. Trust me. He'd disagree and then write a literal essay knowing that you won't be bothered to read it and to respond to each point or even most of his points.
I stated this earlier in the thread. I gave Canelo rounds 2,3,4,10, and possibly round 12. Round 12 I thought was either even or a Canelo round, I'm still not sure. Neither guy did very much much in the 12th, but I thought Canelo may have edged it. Floyd was booed for stalling at one point, and landed next to nothing in the 12th, while Canelo landed a hard jab in the final minute and a short right hand from a clinch that I thought were the best punches in the round.
Lol. I remember giving Canelo round 4 and maybe one or two others at best! Canelo even admitted he could barely lay a glove on Floyd!
How about you provide me with time stamps on the punches that G landed that you thought won him the round. Then I'll counter that with time stamps of the punches that Canelo landed that I thought won him the round.
Dude you literally have time to write novels. But you won't go through time stamps? This is making me doubt how confident you are. I'm just trying to see things through your eyes when I watch the 4th.
2 and 3 were close. 2 is a bit of a stretch as Floyd landed several jabs in the round, but Canelo finished the round strong landing a crowd pleasing hook right on the chin of Floyd and he was feinting Floyd out of his shoes.
