Kovalev isn't as good as people said he was. He didn't show elite toughness.
And Ward is still an extremely dirty fighter. We knew that years ago.

If these guys are today's "pound for pound" elite, boxing's in trouble.

The Nail looks like the real deal he really impressed me in his last fight. His speed and accuracy were top notch. I can't wait to see more of him.

Oh so Ward didn't win fair & square then ?? Dirty fighter definitely. Cant wait to get to see fight & give you my honest opinion. Didn't even know who won till PIMP told me I cannot see Tony Weekes being suspect like Bayless Cortez etc

Lot of great fighters are dirty as ****.

Whatever it takes to get the win. Elbows, headbutts, low blows, clinching, roughing up, holding the head.

Hell, Kov tosses rabbit punches and holds guys heads down... most great fighters do whatever it takes to get an advantage.

Add Beterbiev & Kudryashov to that list that Ward would NOT beat or for that matter take a fight with either one ... but we all know that Ward does not like level playing fields!

Funny, before the first fight all you guys said he'd never fight nor beat Kovalev.

Before that people said he'd lose to AA, Kessler, Froch and people said he'd lose to Green and Dawson.

Hell people said he'd lose to Bika and Miranda as well.

You people are like that glass-jaw guys... say it enough for long enough and eventually he'll lose, just like eventually everyone get's starched... it's been almost 10 years you guys have doubted him.

    Get over it already.

I don't think you understand what "fair" means, Kovalev wasn't treated any differently than Ward.

As for the low blows, I only saw one low blow, and you can't even tell until you see the slow motion replay, otherwise it just looks suspect. Ward found the lowest spot allowable and targeted it. Kovalev was bent over from legal shots too.

2 of the judges didnt agree with you about Kovalev being ahead on the score cards and they were right ;)
i watched the fight like 6 times Kovalev won the first 3 round at best the rest goes to ward.

Was the deck stacked against Kova? Yes. Was Ward allowed to do something Kova wasn't? No.

You said yourself Tony Weeks is fair, and he is. He was down the middle for this fight. He didn't provide any special treatment.

Kovalev beats Ward had it taken place in a neutral venue with a neutral referee who isnt blind.

Pity there isn't one under unified rules.
