...And I think Peter gets one clean knockdown in the fight, but the thing which suprises me is how many realy good punches Klitschko takes.

The knockdown in the 10th is legit. No doubt about it, but what has to be said is how hard some of those punches were. The final punch wasn't great, but in the corner he took some bombs. The big looping right hand was a harder punch than the one which put his on his arse. And Wlad got up after only 3 seconds. That's impressive.

The other two knockdowns were bull****. In the first Klitschko took a couple of hard shots behind the head, which could have resulted in a points deduction at the least. The second was another shot behind the head after a push. Klitschko got up easy both times, regardless of illegal punches.

But if you look throughout the fight the interesting thing is how many KO shots Klitschko takes. It's strange. He takes a clean left hook, similar to the one which KOed Williams, and it doesn't affect him. Throughout the fight, almost everything which lands on Klitschko has no effect.

There has been some revisionist thinking about Peter since the McCline fight, and the dubios poor KO ratio in recent fights. He is still, and always was, however, a great puncher. what he lacks is technical skill to use it, but if he caught Toney with the shots Klitschko eat, he would have won both of those fights by KO. He's a one-punch KO artist, without a doubt.

I think it's the same with the fight Brewster fight too. Klitschko takes some massive hooks to the jaw after being down, and then goes to the canvas off...nothing.

Wladimir sure has a strange chin. He takes the flush shots on the chin, yet is bothered by other punches.

Regardless of any other analysis, his chin is far better than the majority think.

The left hook that Wlad ate at the end of round 3 absolutely was pretty impressive. I think Peter and his team were shocked...

Alright, I'll concede it was an exaggeration on my part, but was still a punch which would KO many heavyweights. Out of the current belt holders, I don't think any could take that shot like Klitschko did. And many people consider Klitschko to have the worst chin out of the lot :patsch

who cares how his chin is seriously. i dont see his chin being a factor anytime soon due to the serious advantages in skill, and arsenal wlad possesses over the se cans.

There were not three knockdowns in Vlad/Peter fight. An extremely illegal punch behind the head should have resulted in a point deduction, Terry Norris lost his title for landing such a shot, Hatton was deducted a point for same punch, but it landed on the ropes! The second one was not a punch at all, no punch landed, a push. Biased commentators make me sick, such as the recent Quintana/Williams fight, also Margarito/Williams fight. Vlad will knock Peter out if there is a rematch. McCline was cheated out of a win, should have been a 10-9 round in rd 2 and a 10-8 round in rd 3, tell me that McCline did not win another two rounds? Don King! Did you look a that snake's face?!

The thing with Wlad is not his chin, its his confidence. Even when you look at the Sanders fight, he wasnt really HURT he didnt know how to escape sanders' left and froze. Even against peter he wasnt out on his feet.

Watch round 12. Vitali or Maskaev will knock Peter out, but if Vlad fight Peter again it will be a knockout. McCline was cheated.

I was nervous as hell during the fight, according to my paps I had become pale. That was a damn good fight, I remember counting the days and nights until the fight.

With a 10-8 round in the 2nd, a 10-8 rd in the 3rd, McCline only needs two more rounds to win the fight, or only 1 more round for a draw, yet he was fully cheated. 10-9 round for the first knockdowns was bull, but still should have won that fight.

Its the punches you dont expect or see that hurt you. Thats why Sanders was able to get that early blitz that he got...Very quick left hand...Klitschko didnt see it coming.

Don't know about his chin, but his legs do tend to turn to jelly after being hit with a good punch, is that more a psychological thing?
