Just saw Creed the movie...Ward was boring in that too

I thought it was quite realistic about Ward, an autobiography if you will. Here we have Ward, a big star, but he's waiting for Creed to fight someone and get tired, then when the guy was all hyped about winning he stepped up knowing he has a big leverage and ktfo Creed and took his car. Bad Jaw Clowson all over again! Why didn't he gave time to Creed for resting? Because he only fights if he has a big advantage, real life or movie, all the same. Then again, after he get spanked in that press conference he started suing left and right, WBC, Pretty Boy Conlan, his manager, his mom, you name it. That was Ward in real life they showed in that movie!

 

Reasonable movie. Pointless thread.

 

What I got from that movie was that Andre Ward was the best fighter there, alluding to his status irl.

Creed and Pretty Boy Conlan fought a highly contested fight. Creed(a green prospect who fought nothing but Mexican cab drivers) was supposed to be a cash out for the p4p number 1 Conlan to help him with lawyer fees.

What happened was Creed competed and beat the **** out of Conlan, almost knocking him out in the last round, only for Conlan to get saved by the bell.

Now we've all seen Ward(aka stuntman wheeler) out classing and taking Creed out with minimal effort during sparring. If Conlan never sucker punched Ward, he would of got that work too.

In the end, Ward sued Conlan for millions while taking the vacant p4p number 1 title.

 

Ward has the charisma of a brick.

But I have to add he is very talented.

 

I saw the movie, but I missed the part where Ward was being born.

 

Bad movie. All hate all sports movies honestly

 

Yeah I liked how Tony Bellew just played himself in that movie and showed what a bellend he is and call it acting.

But who has the better performance between Victor Ortiz in Southpaw or Andre Ward in Creed??

 

It's the best Rocky after IV..

 

The one with Antonio Tarver wasn't bad too.. Rocky's life outside of boxing and all that.. V was bad.. even though Tommy Morrison was good in that..

IV & Creed and the early ones are the best in that order..

 

You forgot that Conlan dropped Creed in the 1st and 11th

 

Obviously Rocky had learned to switch and move by IV.. he wasn't the best because Apollo was on the way down..

 

This post made my morning. It's pure bull**** but it's hilarious.

 

its clear that ward had a large hand in getting himself advertised in it.
