I would be lying if I said I wasnt a little nervous about this fight, the Mccline fight woke me up a bit. Im still very confident that Peter will bring his A game come March, and probably knock Maskeav out early to capture the title. I just wonder if Vitali really is going to fight Peter later this year, I would still favor Peter if the fight does in fact happen, especially since I read a few things about Vitali getting floored alot in sparring, leading to some of his cancellations.

Dude, watch the fight. Some landed on the forearms/gloves, but multiple right hands got through in nearly every round. And hard, too.

Dude that's so painful to watch. I dare anyone on this forum to find one right hand in the Klitschko-Peter fight that matches the right hand McCline hit Peter with in the third. No contest.

I've been saying that all along. Who did he fight after Klitschko beat him? After going the distance with Robert Hawkins and not getting an easy Ko he signed to fight Julius long and somehow after that 1st round kayo Peter became a mandatory for a box off with FAT Farm Tony.

if peter gets by oleg and faces the next mandatory he will lose again. at least he stopped CLUBBING to the back of the head. Caiz sr did a good job during the toney fight. "You wanna **** around"? then came the point deduction!!

I suggest you rewatch the Klitschko/Peter fight. Peter took many flush straight right hands.

Are you trying to say MCline hits harder than Wlad?

Before you answer that "McCline hit him with punches he didn't see coming..............," realize that Peter was looking right at a few of those punches that Jameel landed so the "surprise factor" doesn't really factor in.

Dude, just bring proof. None of this regurgitated diatribe. We've been over this before.

Show me one right hand Waldo landed that had the same sort of destructiveness that McCline hit Sam with in the 3rd round. That's all I ask.

I dont think there was one punch that Wlad hit Peter with that was as hard as Mcclines uppercut, that was a huge punch. Wlad did catch Peter with some decent shots and that one right hand that got Peter dancing, but other then that one nothing of any significance. I will be the first to make this statement, Mccline is more dangerous than Wlad for the first 3 rounds of a fight.

McCline's uppercut that he hit Peter with would have hurt almost everybody and knocked out quite a few. Getting hit by a 270 pound man's best punch in which he gets outstanding leverage, plus not seeing it coming can be devestating. To be honest, I was surprised Peter survived.

    Definately overated.
    A big strong slob.
    He isnt going anywhere.
Limited boxing skills and now eveyone knows that his chin is weak.
Maskaev should be able to handled him easily.

The uppercut was nowhere near as bad as the right hand that dropped Peter the second time in the third round.

I don't see any heavyweight past or present taking that punch without dropping. Not from someone as big as McCline.

Wlad never landed a shot as huge as McCline's uppercut, but throughout his fight against Peter he did consistently land a lot of stiff right hands. I was actually surprised by end Peter hadn't been down at least once.

I'd agree with MexicanJew this is probably because he was fresh and hadn't really taken a thrasing yet. If he had to go through that sort of punishment again, he'd probably go down.

i think the second uppercut was just as hard if not harder. peter was already hurt when he was dropped by the right hand

Everyone knows Scam Cheaters weakness now. Uppercuts. He can't take em. That first one was about as soft as a flower touching a baby with his hands in butter. After that he was just plain ruined.
