Peter had "pumkin face" in the Klitschko fight. Why? A steady diet of stiff jabs and straight rights. In the McCline fight peters mug looked okay.

Oh. and peter lost the Klitschko fight.

True. Let's not forget that Scam Cheater had to do everthing in the cheating arsenal to even come close to being competative with Wlad. If we would have had a referee in there worth a **** Scam would have been DQ'd the second time he aimed for the back of the head and knocked Wlad down. That is just plain John Ruiz type cheating bull****.

Your right if there was a good ref in there and Wlad would of had at least a point or two taken away for holding Peter over 90 clinches in the fight, and when I fighter turns his back in the fight thats his problem if he gets hit behind the head, remember before the Peter/Toney fight the ref telling Toneys people in the dressing if you turn your head its a fair punch.:deal

I also just saw the fight on Showtime again recently and have to admit Peter was out of it and the fight could have been stopped. Lucky he had a ref with high tolerance. In my book, I consider it a loss by KO as I could see 80% of refs stopping that fight. Only time will tell how he comes back in the his subsequent fights. What concerned me most was how long it took for him to recover. He got knocked down at the end of the second and then got rocked and dropped two more times to be on ***** street for another 1-2 rounds. If he would be fighting any other fighter who could put punches together better than Mccline he would have gotten stopped for sure.

:good exaclty...but Don King is his promoter so he could have been dropped 5 more times and as long as he got up would've been able to continue

When Sam Peter lays out Maskaev in under 6 rounds no one will doubt him ever again, he's going to knockout Maskeav with an overhand right, the one punch that Rahman was able to get through in there second fight.

Had he been dropped a 4th time, Ortega would have stopped the fight. He was able to continue although very unsteady on his feet.

Boxing Guru is a known Wlad nuthugger, he thinks making fun of Peter makes that glass chinned champ Wlad sound better. Me and him have an avatar bet on the Maskaev/Peter fight, so you might see Guru with a nice new Sam Peter avatar real soon, he will be sporting one of the many pics of Wlad laying down on canvas, he has 11 to chose from.:yep

The fight COULD have been stopped, but I think it was definitely a good decision to let him continue because he did respond to Ortega's questions. The fact that he was able to win all but 1 or 2 of the remaining rounds shows he has 1) excellent recovery powers, 2) a big heart, 3) championship level toughness, and 4) underrated stamina/conditioning. I think he'll get his first KO against a top 10 contender/champion against Maskaev - and I expect it to come before the 6th.

I used to get mad when he would come on and start talking **** on Peter, but I found out he gets off on people getting mad I think. The best thing to do is use logic in arguement and if that doesnt work just ignore him, hes the type of poster whos hard to reason with.
