Baldo has options just like he fought Gatti before PBF he could have fought a number of people at 147 for example, Clottey, Quintana or Cotto.

Baldomir was looking to cash out with his linear championship. The first fight that offered him over a million bucks was with Gatti and didn't think twice.

You may have seen all his fights, but it's obvious you didn't follow his career. early on.

Wrong! I've been following PBF every since he was on the olympic team in 96.

Let me try and explain in the simplest terms. I, being a Margarito supporter, do not think he is more skilled than Gayfeather, nor faster, nor a better boxer...you get the idea? However, I do think he is tougher, stronger, more resilient, and is a pretty good pressure fighter. Now neither of these things guarantee a win for Margarito, but I would rather see Gayfeather fight Margarito than say a Gatti, a Baldomir, or some old, never-great-to-begin-with crossdressing homo. Many will say that Margo and Baldo are cut from the same cloth, but I beg to differ. Margo isn't featherfisted like Baldo. He is taller, and has a better workrate than Baldo, which I believe will give Gayfeather problems. Margo and Baldo's chins are about as equal as you can get, so I don't see Gayfeather stopping Margo like a lot of naysayers do. I also think of Gayfeather vs Margarito as more of a Gayfeather vs Castillo type of fight although Margarito a lot sloppier when throwing punches; however, Margarito throws a heck of a lot more punches than Castillo. He'll be in Gayfeather's face the full 12 rounds.

Anyhow, that is just my opinion.

    P.S.

Clottey shoulda, coulda, would've, BUT he DIDN'T, get over it. :deal

It's a shame Gayfeather didn't have the same confidence that you have. If he did, he would have taken the $8,000,000,00, and proved us haters wrong. Maybe you can Fed Ex him your balls since he doesn't have any. Maybe then he will take on someone legitimate like Cotto, Margarito, Quintana, or Clottey (in no particular order).

:blah::blah: The same **** people said about Hatton as well he'll be on PBF for every second of every round...spare me. Margo won't because he can't deal with movement period he won't overcome it he doesn't have the footspeed nor the footwork to do it. Anyone that knows boxing will tell you that Margo's workrate will drop in half much like Williams did against Quintana becuase Quintan didn't stand in front of Williams and moved making it hard for Williams to throw 1000 punches.:deal That in a nutshell is the main reason why he can't beat PBF. Toughness and workrate will only get you so far but you need more than that to beat elite boxers.:deal

Hey dumbass I guess you forgot to mention he had bigger fish to fry in the linear champion at 147 in Carlos Baldomir. Only in a Margo hugger or PBF hater's mind would a win against a unproven Margo would be better than a win over the linear champ. Too bad history and rational thinkers don't agree with you.:hi:
