Right this is an underrated point. I know that HBO has the power to suggest names (they suggested for Arreola and Paul Williams to be on the undercard of Floyd vs Baldo) but they can't force anything like if it was on HBO. They can only suggest.

My attitude on undercards is that it should have ONE big fight championship or otherwise, a fight between two decent B- list guys who are going to have an entertaining slugfest and then one fight with an up and coming prospect sandwiched between those two big fights.

 

A **** undercard. No way I'm getting this unless it's free.

 

I wouldnt pay for the **** anyway, no matter who was on it, its an insult to the fans compared to the fight we were supposed to get on that date.

Why is everyone sleeping on the Soto/Diaz fight~?? That's the fight that's gonna be the more interesting matchup of the undercard... Soto has just become a beast lately... And Diaz is a tough guy, former champion.... Soto/Diaz would be a main event on HBO BAD...

 

Who cares if Clottey gets stopped for the first time by Pac?

Did anybody rated Pac high because he was the first guy to stop Sasakul, Hussein, Sakmuangklang, Julio, Lucero, etc?

All fighters at some point in their careers have never been stopped - until they get stopped.

Thank god it's free in the U.K on Sky Sports, so was the Cotto-Pacquiao fight & Mayweather - Marquez fight.
