Firstly I was happy and not the least bit surprised when I saw the result. I didn't know anything about Frenkel before the fight and in the bookies making Macca decent favourite, I had a suspicion he was getting badly overrated once again and bet on Frenkel accordingly. Nothing againbst Macca personally, i've just always felt he was one of the most molly-coddled fighters in a long time. Who has he actually beat? (and this guy is Haye's second best even win probably :-().

But that KO was vicious. What was the ref thinking letting that go on after the first massive KD? Enzo looked ****ed. The ref should've stopped that, expecially given the history of egg chin.
That KO was Pac-Hatton esque. The first KD was like Derry Matthews getting dropped by Lindsay.
Hopefully Macca retires and he's suffered some nasty KO losses.

Looking ahead, i'm honestly looking to back Harrison over Haye at the 6/1 available. I know Audrey is shite and have bet against him plenty of times, but at such a big price over a weak chinned fighter like Haye, whose second best win is over Enzo Maccarinelli.........well, basically I think Haye is horribly overhyped.

Even if Haye is overhyped, he beats Harrison easily.

You're throwing your money down the drain if you back Fraudly.

That Frenkel KO won me a lot of money last night but I couldn't even celebrate when seeing the knock out. Normally I go bananas if a bet pulls thru but I Felt more sick than anything else.

Ref was out of order letting it carry on, it was clear to see Mac was finished. Anyone know how he's doing?

Maccarinelli was in a worst state than when he tried to put his hands up against Haye.

Against Haye he could barely get his hands up to his chest - and the ref stopped the fight.

Against Frenkel - he couldnt even get his hands up past his waist - and I thought it was a formality that the ref would wave it off.

It was a wreckless decsion to let a fighter in that condition go on and there was only going to be one outcome - and that was a sickening KO against a out on his feet defenceless fighter.

The first knockdown I thought was a carbon copy of Wayne Alexander against Takloo - even right down to his head bouncing off the canvas.

The only difference is Enzo got up - he got plenty of heart - and he went out on his shield - he was too brave for his own good. If this is his last fight - and I hope for the sake of his health it is - at least he went out like a true warrior - and no-one can question this guys fighting courage.

Look at David Haye - he wont take a fight unless he really fancys his chances of winning.

Enzo took the Haye fight - and he took this dangerous fight - and he got knocked out both times - but he is a very brave guy.

He didnt run from Fenkel at the end he still came at him in a kill or be killed moment.

I thought Enzo would lose - I just felt this guy looked alot younger and fresher and Enzo looked jaded and a bit old in there.

He was prideful to the last though - to the point of being stupid - fighting with the Doctors as he didnt want what he thought was the indiginty of having a oxygen mask on his face and trying to get on his feet too quick.

Its over now for sure. He would be foolish to carry on.

Yep I recommended this bet in the betting thread. 11/8 on Frenkel was too much against the poor chinned Maccarinelli. He didn't have to be great to win, and he wasn't, and he did.
