Come on you can do better than that. Thats a pretty old, unoriginal retort. Relax, you always seem very stressed on here. Going by the way you act it would seem you're the one who doesn't get a lot of *****. I respect Wlad so just chill out.
are you delusional? in what way was Wlad in any way disrespectful? He has always been one of the nice guys in the sport...which truly is a breath of fresh air. He goes out of his way to compliment his opponnents and does not talk trash. You on the other hand are a fool to make such an obviously ignorant attempt at dragging his name through the mud for something anyone who knows anything about Wlad will see through.
Yes, and that wisdom didn't came by the help of Steward. Wisdom comes with age. Back then he was light on his feet, now it seems like his shoes are stuck on the floor with superglue, he's like a concrete pillar. His defence might be a little, just a tiny little bit better, but at what cost? He could have improved his defence without losing his old exciting effective style. BTW didn't Peter knock him down 3 times... so long for his ''better defence'' as many mention. Another big reason why he is hard to beat is because of his size of course! Duh!
Back to 1996 - 1999 Wlad was a very good fighter with great footwork before the German Trainer Fritz Sdunek changes this style. Watch the fights from Wladimir. He makes a good fight against Ray Mercer with Tommy Brooks in the corner. With the help of Emanuel Steward Wladimir goes back to this old style with great footwork but a better defence and great offensive style. He took Ray Austin out in 2 rounds, Byrd in 7, Brock in 7, Brewster in 6.
Maybe you're right, but he fights so low paced and so boring my friend !!! I know it's just my opinion and it's all about effectiveness which he is... but still !!
