Lara vs Ggg No excuses either side, just sign the contract. Lara has earned the fight. It's a great match eitherway you look at it. Where Canelo failed to cut off the ring, was off balance and swinging at air all night , and made for a boring fight, Ggg has the tools to make it exciting.
What has Lara done to earn the fight? Has he not been a "good boy"? Why do you want his glass jaw to be shattered? Did he do something horrible and needs to be punished?
I agree. Ive been saying for yrs that Lara needs to forget about LMW and go where his power would be more effective without draining. He comes in weighing 167-171 lbs FFS. Forget draining and keep some of that power and punch resistance but with his speed, added power and better ability to trade, he'd be a real force at MW.:thumbsup
while I'd like to see him vs GGG, I'd rather see him school and KTFO Jacobs, and earn a higher split vs GGG.:thumbsup
Why, I repeat, why on earth would Lara deserve a shot at MW champion? He's not even the best LMW, has no fights at MW, unproven at MW. GGG should go wit the winner of Lemieux-N'dam. And why take a twitter call out so seriously? Ali Raymi called out Roman Gonzales on twitter, doesn't mean sht. Nothing but a joke.
What makes you think that Lemiuex Ndam winner is gonna throw their belt in the trash and pick up their 3rd L 3 months after they win their first title.atschatschatsch
Lara did NOTHING less than draw with Canelo, and beat Trout far more decisively. Also beat Angulo, PWilly, fought even with Vanes. I mean yeah, he's a LMW, but he's coming into the ring as much as GGG, and who doesnt believe Canelo deserves GGG. Of course Lara deserves the fight. IF, and a big IF, his promoter will let him make it.:think
Murray and Geale were legit contenders, and Monroe jr. were WBA #2, not so much a legit contender but at least proved himself at MW by winning the boxcino.
Im kinda disappointed k2 and G arent making this fight happen now that the froch fight is pretty much dead. Lara is the highest rated p4p fighter G has ever fought... is more known then the majority of his opponents, and is a common opponent to Canelo and other top guys. Doesnt really make a lot of sense to me why they arent making it.
