    how does ggg beating lara, a top 10 pfp guy, NOT raise ggg's profile higher? it's not like lara is ww. they're ONE weight class apart. lmw champs have always jumped right up and fought mw champs. look at leonard-hagler....billy conn- joe louis...napoles-monzon. lara is a legit star and a big name. he's a recognized top fighter. he beat paul williams who beat sergio martinez....lara beat canelo, lara dominated vanes ...and trout...ko'd angulo.

    for ggg to beat him would be a HUGE feather in ggg's cap.

    That might be the reason, but even if Lara was allowed to fight on HBO, he shouldn't be a priority yet.
