Just speculation but is Wilder finally stepping up?

Because Chisora exposed his glass heart

Most people picked Scott to box Chisoras ears off, if Scott was still unbeaten, would Wilder be fighting him? I think we all know the answer to that question

More smart matchmaking from Team Wilder, Chisoras win was legit, since people were hyping Scott after he got robbed against Glazkov, Chisora had a point to prove

but he took the bloom off Scotts rose

It was the referee that did that. Chisora needed the knock down to stay in the fight. I think if it weren't for the premature, hometown stoppage Scott would probably have won, even though Chisora was a bad stylistic match-up for him.

Nevertheless, it was disheartening how Scott took the bad decision with such cheeriness - not a good sign.

Scott deserved the win over Glazkov. Glazkov is by no means a bum. This is definitely a step up.

Malik isn't in the the top 10, but it will still be the best fight that Wilder has fought. I look for Wilder to finally go past the 4th round, but to stop Scott somewhere between the 6th and the 8th round.

Bull**** lol, even Scott admitted Chisora was the better fighter post fight, every time Chisora punched Scott, Scott got that nervous "I'm pretending that you aren't bothering me but you obviously are" smile, then he went down, barely gpt up, and gave a feeble at best protest before admitting Chisora was the fair winner

My assessment of the Glazkov fight was that both guys were pretty ****

And this was before he pracitically quit against Chisora, so it isn't hindsight when I say this is a very smart low risk fight for Wilder

Like somebody else said, it's pretty sad that this qualifies as a big step up for Wilder

Why has Wilder never fought a guy like this:

    agreed.
fighting a guy coming off a loss and ranked 23 spots below Wilder is a joke when people think its a step "up" :rofl

Wilder-Jennings is the obvious choice, but I doubt the Wilder camp want it

Why hasn't he fought a 5-foot-11 cruiserweight who has won less than 2/3rds of his fights? I'm not quite sure I understand your point.
