SRR was an amazing athlete. I think he could have been as good or better had he trained using today's technical know how. However he is a product of his time. He was great for that era, but technically a bit crude for today.

Now crude does NOT mean ineffective, but we will never know.

Abraham got outboxed. He did not lose because of his reach, he lost because he just isn't good enough to beat Froch. Yes Mayweather can go to 175, physically nothing stops him. He would be small and would have to pick his fights wisely but that does not mean he couldn't win a title.
