No, anabolic steroids were the reason why Arnold had bodybuilding success. That much is obvious. He has admitted to their use, watch "bigger faster stronger: the side effects of being american" if you want to know more.

Creatine doesn't make you a better athlete. In small amounts it can aid recovery. But all c. monohydrate does is really increase your muscle mass. it's for show. not functional strength. So for a boxer it doesnt really do **** other than make you bulkier than you already are. Creatine can be useful to people with neuromuscular diseases. But it's not a game changer for athletes.

EPO didnt give Jones her body. Anabolic steroids did, which she has also admitted to. She was part of the BALCO scandal.

    So yeah. Cheating=/=evolution.

If your comparing Mosley to SRR you need to get back in your basement and spend a whole day watching SRR. To begin with SRR was a large WW, 5-11 or so, power in both hands and I mean big power in both hands, great chin, great stamina, and speed. Floyd on the other hand, 5-8, 5-9 tops, fast hands and feet, no power at WW, but he doesn't rely on power to win anyways, great defense, speed, and stamina.

SRR was a bigger puncher, bigger physically, and more consistent than Mosley ever was. If it was SRR catching Floyd with that 2nd round bomb SRR knocks out the highly overrated Floyd Mayweather in 2. It's that simple. Floyd would have huge problems with SRR's jab as well and you can bet Floyd would try to counter SRR the whole time, but Floyd would be feeling power like he's never felt before vs SRR. SRR was a WW that made LHW's humble. He was winning his fight vs Maxim before SRR succumbed to the heat and this was a past his prime SRR. Floyd won't even fight a 5-6 JWW you should be ashamed for comparing Floyd to SRR. :bart

In everything we can measure, standards have improved due to greater understanding of technique ,nuitrition, and prior knowledge.

    Same with boxing.

I'm of the opinion that an elite modern fighter would beat SRR if he was magically transported forward in time.

However, if he was born today, I'd back him to beat everyone as the drive to be great and skills to achieve it would still be there.

Thats the fun of stacking them against eachother and then theres the bad.

Whos to say SRR dosent get with freddy roach and get on some good ass peds and destroy everybody

but I think people really just gauge them on how they were back in the day vs what they see today

I still think SRR beats pac and mayweather but having problems with both but then again pac and mayweather strength are so underrated and we never know how good mayweather is because he does enough to just win the fight and pac has to be tested ever time he moves up to see his limitations which we have yet to see aswell.

but we have seen the best of SRR and most seen what they think is enough of our greats to say who can beat who

I think our athletes are better today
but they athletes of yesteryear by far much much tougher

anybody see tommy hearns break his hand on haglers head? wtf???

No, he bought supplements from Conte. Those happened to be EPO and THG. Steroids. Conte's a supplier. Not a nutritionist. Just a dealer.

 all he did was make a designer steroid with the help of a chemist that is harder to detect, he hasn't helped make athletes better or medicine evolve. He just found a way to give cheaters hormones in a more subtle way, nothing progressive about it
