Just spoke to Matthew Macklin about Barker, IBF eliminator and Hatton Promotions

What did the Hatton's do wrong? They got his two fights in quick succession with one of them getting him the European Title and a win over a legitimate top 10 Middleweight.

 

they must have had him promises they never stuck to. also dont think his last fight sold many tickets. could also be that he always wanted Barker

 

Hasn't Hatton been putting up ridiculous amounts of money for some of the fights he's promoted?

 

Macklin get about whether it be promoters or trainers dont know him personally but what will he be happy with surely staying with a promoter/trainer would get things done quicker rather than the chopping and changing.

Wouldnt be surprised if he went to Goldenboy signed him and played up his Irish roots in America they seem to be doing a lot of that lately

Spoke to some of matthew hatton's mates at small-Webb bill and they said all fighters involved in hatton promotions think Gareth Williams is a ****. Apparently Brodie **** him up by threatened to smack him after he gave him a patronising hand off during one discussion.

 

Only a few months back he was tossing off about how amazing they wereatsch

 

Most fighters moan about some of the suits/promoters anyway its nothing new
