What a ****'n peanut.......... Obviously he got schooled in the sparring. Chances are the car park fight might go the same way
This bloke was & still is pretty heavily involved in boxing, knows & mixes, maybe even trains some, most of the blokes spoken about on here Unfortunately the likes of ty calling people dogs etc prompted him to leave
We need people in the industry like that on the forum for sure.... But if he never made a post anyway and just read the forum, its not that much of a loss aye.
From what i have heard Jeff was never much of a sparrer He would get into a spar and the other bloke would usually hav it over him That is maybe why he wanted to take it to the car park Come fight night he usually brought all he had though
I one time saw Jeff sitting in his car.I knew him and was talking to him.At the time he was preparing for a world title fight,I cannot remember which one about 1991.Jeffs whole face was blueish or slightly black.from all the punches he had copped in sparring in preperation for the fight.Jeff gave his all in training, sparring and fighting.Jeff has allways been the same.
i saw him in 1985. i was getting off a train at central or kings x. he had a tracksuit and addidas bag, heading up the stairs quickly. i didnt get a chance to speak to him....but, i saw him..
I saw him ordering a cheese burger at Harry's Cafe De Wheels. He had on a white sequinned jumpsuit and diamond-embedded sunglasses. I guess he didn't want to be recognised by the general public.
