Obviously the main event should be EXPLOSIVE!!! However the rest of the fightcard is looking kinda' WHACK!!!!

Saul Alvarez vs Jose Miguel Cotto.
I think the last we "remembered" of Jose Cotto was his "infamous implosion" in the ring. But he does have some talent, so maybe...just maybe this might be a decent fight.

    Danny Jacobs
still doesn't have an opponent and we're less than a month away from this fight...meaning they'll bring in some last minute tomato can to get KTFO.

George Groves a undefeated Super Middleweight prospect still doesn't have an opponent either...DAMN, and I thought that Pac/Clottey card sucked!!!

    Agreed.

I've been waiting for them to finalize the undercard for a while now and the lack of new info is leading me to believe that it will be ****.

  3. Danny Jacobs is the next big thing, he's sweet for the undercard but promotors need to start spending more money on their events.

Imagine Floyd and Mosley coming out to a Wlad, valuev, vitali style intro. That show the worlds best should be shown.

Floyd - Mosley alone is all worth it, especially if Floyd gets KTFO.

definitely not stellar but the Alvarez-Cotto fight is a solid step up for Saul.

The Pac-Clottey undercard is not a good comparison in that this main event is a superfight, one of the biggest fights in years. Pac-Clottey was an HBO WCB type fight pushed into PPV.

Not a great undercard but I;ve never seen Saul Alvarez and I'm excited to see him in action.

Groves is an exciting prospect but he'll just be demolishing some bum on May 1.

You're right but we all knew the main event would be a bore. This time the main event has a lot of excitement. I'm not saying stacked cards aren't important, it's just that you're paying $50 for a sick main event...
