    Margarito was taking some serious punishment, the ref/ doctors did their jobs and saved him from unnecessary punishment. Maybe the fight would have been different if Margarito didn't have problems with his eye but based on the fight as it was, Cotto was clearly the better man.

    Yeah, sure, Margarito was on the verge of making a case that he beat Cotto legitimately the first time when they stopped it. And instead of continue his career with a new found confidence in which he could hold his head high on, it's he that up ended quitting...for life, what more really needs to be said.
