    I think it depends how far you are willing to extend the term "similar style". If you mean "fought exactly like him" I agree. But it's also true of someone like Arturo Godoy, so what's the point?

    If you mean he had new ideas, i disagree, that's just not true.

    Yeah, probably nobody close to Langford before Langford or Louis before Louis, Johnson before Johnson etc. It's notable, I agree, but, again, I don't really know what you mean when you say it, i'm not sure what you're claiming.

    No Walcott`s style was far more effective than Canzoneri`s judging by the vid the forum user poted to your reply, Canzoneri was missing with more counters and wasn`t moving erratic he was more relying on reflex and baiting his opponent, his movement wa more predictable than Walcott`s here.

    He was beating Marciano before being caught and he knocked out Charles once, the two best fighters on the highlight reel considering Louis`s age when he fought Walcott and the fact that a lot of people felt Walcott beat Louis.

    Griffith punched from too far out v Monzon, Walcott was a better judge of distance and didn`t fall out of position after punching.
