Jnr plain and simple comes across as a complete dick , been given everything he ever wanted and hasnt had to work for it.

Sergio on the other hand is a way better fighter in every sense. Humble and worked for everything he has got.

This may go into the later rounds but Serio is going to hand out a complete ass kicking.

    Cannot wait.

    peace.

Chavez does work hard. He wouldn't have made it as a pro if he didn't. But has he been given a better placement in life than others like Sergio Martinez? YES...but that's not Jr.'s fault. He had no choice in the matter to be born to Chavez Sr. and to a more privileged life than Sergio.
He can only make the best of his situation and then improve upon it by being his own Man and doing something of achievement that he can be proud of.

That said, I'm pulling for Sergio. I like his "Character" better. And I agree with him that what Chavez did, which was to get the title and then wait it out and not fight Sergio sooner...was b.s.

Chavez could be sitting on his arse in his daddy's mansion sniffing coca powder and spoiling himself silly with his daddy's millions but instead, he's grinding away in one of the hardest sports with barely a thimbleful of his daddy's talent. He could have quit at any time and take himself away from all the pressure and limelight and noone would have really cared.

Instead he's a champion with the respect that comes from defeating some of the top 10 fighters in his division. He may not have as hard a road as Sergio but it was a hard road nevertheless.

I don't know how you managed to draw this conclusion from 24/7.

To me he came across as a loving son and a hard working fighter.

He has said himself that he can't change the fact that Chavez is his father.

Don't hate on him because he had money growing up. He doesn't control that. You must come from a poor family or something?
