I forgot just how good the young roy jones really was. He was just amazing. I think floyd is the better overall boxer but roys natrual speed athletic abitlity was just superhuman it trumphs floyds iq and defence. Roy was the greater of the two in my opinion. Floyd may have better technical abilty than roy but its outshone by roys freakishly amazing athetisium and power. He just didnt get hit he really didnt need a jab or great defence his footwork and refelexes were enough.
Roy would have beaten hagler hearns leonard monzon pretty easliy. He was just too quick and hit real hard at mw
