You obviously never saw Byrd vs Ibeabuchi. Why am i not surprised? And why did it take him 12 rounds of constant holding and mauling before he was able to flatline Chambers
An easy way to weed out the less knowledge fans is simple . See who discredits Wlad because he was the most skilled /fastest fighter over 240 to ever fight win or lose, he certainly changed how big men were percieved and no one has surpassed him with technical boxing offense , Lewis , Vitali , and now Joshua are the only super heavy weights of 240 plus you can say have elite skills for giant boxers.
Riddick Bowe had more tools in his box than Wlad. Hell , even Golota was a more well rounded boxer. Valeuv could have beaten anybody from his era if he fought like Wlad. Haye wouldn't of had a chance if he got leaned on like he did in the Wlad fight. Have a good think about that.
Bowe had better counter /inside punching..he didnt have the technical punching of Wlad . He was skilled but but im also talking about 240/250 pound tall guys . Bowe in shape weight was 225 /235 which is easier to be more technical of not carrying so much mass . Golota is a step below Vitali and looked good against Bowe who didnt like jabbers . You continue to pick fights of your liking but never bring up Bowe vs out of prime Tubbs ,another jabber who went the distance with him and even in a loss at times looked like he was clowning Bowe . So if we go by your criteria where does Bowe rank then?
Wlad is a good technical 1-2 puncher but he can only hit whats lined up in front of him. How does an extra 5 pounds of mass make him a better boxer than Bowe. It doesn't. Bowe didn't need to set his feet to hit guys , thats why he'd blow away every body on Wlads record a lot easier than Wlad did himself. Golota fought Byrd and out boxed him better than Vitali did. And Golota was shot , Vitali was prime. Tubbs was beaten handily. If you want to bring up learning fights , i'll bring up Purrity. Getting blown away by a journeyman is a lot worse than beating Tubbs.
Trolling another Klitschko thread... why am I not surprised. Lol!! And Byrd was frustrating Ike before the last couple rounds. NOBODY handled a prime Byrd the way Wladimir did. Case closed 23 total title defenses and an Olympic Gold at heavyweight. Name another that's done that. Let that basement hate OOOOZZE THROUGH YOU. I like it
It took Wlad 12 rounds. It only took Ike 5. That fight was a one sided domination. Even when Wlad fought a shot Byrd in 2006 he still couldn't dominate him the way Ibeauchi did. Ike exposed both brothers skill level as B - / C
Wlad had Bowe by 10 pounds or more . Its not so easy to keep balance with mass and overly tall, why do you think Bowe was clumsy and off balance when extending his right hand ? Vitali was shot bc of Shoulder issues throughout his career ,he defeats Byrd 10 out of 10 times without injury intererance . Tubbs made Bowe look like a fool at times ,he was also known to get beat up in sparring by Tubbs and declined a rematch . Does this mean Bowe would lose? Iguess so since Byrd is a world beater next to Vitali . lol
Bowe had exceptional balance and foot work which resembled the great Joe Louis. You're in chronic need of boxing education.
Bowes balance was pretty bad when he missed a right hand. The general consensus is you probably have the least knowledge on this forum .lol
Yep, but it doesn't stop him from trolling EVERY single Klitschko thread, no matter how absurd he looks. He's got some kind of pathology.
Yeah, people forget that Byrd and Ike were basically tied on rounds when the epic ko came. I'm not convinced Byrd wouldn't have won a rematch. Wlad (and even Vitali, excepting his injury) handled Byrd better and more consistently.
