Fighting on a Mayweather undercard would be awesome.

    Just hope it happens.

Having him on HBO would be even greater.

Sure Showtime,ESPN,Versus, etc are good channels but HBO is where the real money and exposuer is.

Btw he will get 900k being champ.

HBO was really rough on Andrade last time he was on their network (apparently Kellerman openly asked why fighters of this magnitude were on HBO) so I figure there might be some issues there.

Maybe they'll try to make Bute the next Calzaghe?

    Last time was with Stieglitz.

I didn't notice anything bad.In fact Kellerman was on Andrade's bandwagon.

I hope Bute becomes greater than Calzaghe.

BooRadley said that he said "What are fighters of this caliber doing on this network?" so I guess I'll have to ask him to clarify it again basically.

    When exactly was this?

During the telecast he was on his balls on how under Grant he developed better defensively rolling with the punches and all, etc.

Did you hear anything about them negotiating ? No ? So how the **** do you know what exactly Abraham is, or would be claiming. And why don't they start negotiating and telling THEN it is impossible to make, like Klitschko did with David "Diva" Haye ?

And please spare me the bull**** about Abraham having to ditch his belt and fight himself up the ladder first. That is nothing but a Pavlicker excuse, the last straw you are clinging to, to avoid flat out saying "Arum avoids Abraham".

Heard it with my own two ears, but I don't recall what point of the fight they were in. Kellerman was prattling on about what a good show they were putting on, and that he made one of his usual idiotic statements.

1: There is nothing on Arthur's resume that says he is capable of "raising his game." If you want to debate that, I have the details right here at my desk.

2: Exactly when, and against whom, did you ever see anyone get away with going to the body against Pavlik, or see him hurt by body shots?

3: Arthur's defense is the most over rated aspect of his style. Feather fisted LuJaun Simon and Mahir Oral penetrated his guard and snapped his head back with jabs. They also hit him with right hands many times. Now, imgagine that's Kelly Pavlik doing it:think

4: Arthur's use of his power is ineffecient and inarticulate. That's why guys who got knocked out by Raymond Joval and Kassim Ouma went the distance with Abraham.:patsch

I wonder how stupid someone should feel who MENTIONS that it was feather fisted volume punchers who managed to connect (forgot Ayala - he did it much more often) and then don't manage to put that into relation to Abraham being lazy about it letting that happen ? How many big shots did for example Eastman managed to land ? One. Miranda ? One. Velazco ? Two. Gevor ? Only grazing shots. Ikeke ? Nothing at all.

Fact is, it were weak punching volume punchers and "technicians" in Ayala, Simon and Oral who were landing, Ayala and Oral really a lot. What happened to them ? Knocked around with heavy hands at will after the first couple of rounds, and then out.

There is a good chance Abraham needs to change that a bit when going up to super middle, facing bigger guys. His approach with Velazco, Miranda I and Ikeke showed that he can fight different, evading more, when he needs to.

BTW, people fail to see that also Andrade in the clip above wasn't hit as often in the beginning when he was still feeling Stieglitz power out. Only when he felt that one could not hurt him, he started to trade punches, with Stieglitz getting the short of the stick.

You made some good points and wasted a lot of energy to belittle AA's achievements as a fighter,booradley.But................what happens if AA connects with one of powerful shots clean on Pavlik's chin? I for my part have no doubt that Pavlik will easily outpoint AA if...............well,if he can avoid AA's mean shots .I am not really sure, but I somehow doubt that Pavlik will be slick and focused enough to hold the forth despite being under heavy fire from AA' s artillery.Pavlik would test unchartered territory by taking AA's bombs if their fight ever came off which I very much doubt.
Pavlik has never shared the ring with such a good puncher as AA.
