Just watched Abraham Vs. Oral.........

AA would have to get to Pavlik early to knock him out. Once Pavlik gets warmed up in a rythm he is hard to stop or keep down. JT hurt him early but he landed the same kind of shots later and Pavlik went right through them. AA does not explode early. I think if Pavlik fights his fight and does not do anything stupid he wins just by his jab alone.

 

If you have a rythm, you are doing something wrong. Fighters with rythm can be picked apart by fighters who are good in reading that. Fighters who punch arythmic are hard to come by, see Hopkins. Abraham doesn't have a rythm, he fights in particularily wild burst that start from nowhere, whenever his temper goes through. If you come "with a rythm" against that, you are doomed.

Then to mention "omg, what happens when PAVLIK -hits- Abraham ???? Omg, omg, omg!!!" is a joke. Or that Abraham couldn't be "in Pavliks league" under any consideration, has no chance, will get "easily" terrorized, blablablablablablaaaablablabla. Fact is, Abraham has 30 wins with 24 KOs, several of them late in the fight. Without Pavlik and Abraham going into the ring, NOONE knows what happens. And Arum is not really keen on finding out. This is the ugly truth.

 

I just pray this fight happens and soon! Then Kelly can pound through the midget's turtle shell farce of a "defense" AA drops his left so much KP would have to try and miss the counter right. Let AA go into a shell against Kelly oh God help him.....That implanted jaw will have to be reassembled!!!
AA appears to have the similiar late power that Kelly has, but my two cents says KP would take an early lead and take the steam out of AA and KO him 9.

 

Any news on Sturm? I wasn't sure if the HBO offer of $2 mill was for BOTH fighters or just Kelly? I used to worry about Kelly taking on AA, but not after watching his last couple of fights. Not sure if AA hits any harder than Miranda, but I doubt it.

Arthur doesn't hit any harder than Miranda, and their only common opponent went the distance with Arthur, but only last into the 7th with Miranda.

The idea that Abraham only needs one big shot to put KP away is pure fantasy. Kelly absorbed Miranda's power WAY better than Arthur did.

I'm pretty tired of hearing that crap about how KP kept Miranda moving backward so he had no leverage. That's another internet myth.

There was a point in their fight where KP took a big shot from Pantera, and then just stood there like "**** you, hit me again." Miranda landed 2 more bombs and then Pav returned fire, backed him up and beat the **** out of him. Those were the same type of shots that damn near tore Abraham's face off! Afterward Kelly said; "It made me feel kinda funny."

 

I guarantee you, Pavlik won't feel "kinda funny" after one of Abraham's bombs landed on him. Sorry, but you seem to believe that Pav is the second coming of Superman, but this is just not the case. If AA connects clean it will be lights out. Problem is: AA's not able to do that very often - but that he's able to knock his opponents out without hitting them clean says a lot about his power. If Pavlik thinks he can just swallow AA's bombs at will without getting hurt he's plain stupid.

 

You aren't confident lol. Pav doesn't have the style to beat AA nor is he strong enough. The Oral fight should've told you that Pav has very little chance to beat AA if anything lol. Pav can't box a lick, and that is his downfall against anyone who can box.
