Before I start just to let you guys know I'm not a fan of either fighter.

ROUND 1; Even 10/10 = berto looks stunned but comes back with good flury catching callazo and showing agression in the remainder of the round

ROUND 2; Berto 10/9 = shows better speed and catching callazo more. effective in holding

ROUND 3; Callazo 10/9 Callazo backs berto up, lands cleanly on berto and berto holds a little. callazo flurys and steals the round winning on the inside

ROUND 4; Callazo 10/8 = callazo winning the round throwing more punches and more effective pressure. also 1 point deducted from berto

ROUND 5; Berto 10/9 = lands more, makes callazo miss. Callazo takes more than he gives

ROUND 6; Berto 10/9 = good effective agressive pressure. shows he can counter and block

ROUND; Berto 10/9 = huge bodyshots from berto, slows callazo. berto land 28-7 punches

ROUND 8; Berto 10/9 = Lots of bodyshots which slows callazo, catches callazo with clean right hand. 21-3 bunches for berto

ROUND 9; Callazo 10/9 = good left hands, good flurys bang on target, make berto miss,

ROUND 10; Callazo 10/9 = getting the better of a toe to toe round, more effective punching. weaves under berto's hooks and wins on the inside

ROUND 11; Berto 10/9 = both throwing lots of punches, berto looks tired and is missing, callazo is thorwing punches that are being blocked, berto comes back nicely in the last minute winning the round throwing hard punches

ROUND 12; Berto 10/9 = berto throws big effective power punches, nice uppercuts and body shots, callazo is trying hard but has no power left
    and has slowed down considerably

    FINAL SCORE 115-113 for Berto.

p.s. I think the point deduction was a bit unfair but it depends on how you look at it. realise that callazo was shouting to the ref everytym berto was holding.

114-113 or 115-112 for Collazo was THE correct score. Period.

Totally agreed. 115-112 COLLAZO is the way I had it after multiple scorings.

The first round was clearly Collazos round, regardless of the single shot he slipped in later in the round, Collazo threw and landed more shots and did bigger damage.

Agreed. Even though Berto was getting the better of him in the last rounds, collazo seemed to hit berto more on the inside with cleaner shots. Clean effective punching comes to mind in this one. Tough fight to score either way. But we all knew louie was going to make it tough. I felt louie deserved the win.

Collazo was the aggressor and his infighting was far superior. when it was at long range berto was winning but no matter how many times I watch the fight Collazo just did more to win.

114-113 Collazo. Certaintly not a robbery but that 1 score was atrocious. Berto despite his offensive skills has some serious defensive issues to work out though. Can't let yourself get hit that much by power shots. If Collazo had some heavy hands, Berto would have been out of there.

An even first round means you gave Collazo no credit for controlling 2:30 of that stanza.

But a point or even two point win for Berto is somewhat defensible.

114-113 Collazo is the correct score in my book.

Even Doug Fischer's replacement, G. Montoya, who said that Collazo had basically no chance - to the point of the fight not even making him interested in even watching it, had Collazo winning 115-112. He's having to do all sorts of retracting. At least he's honest.
