Ok I just watched and scored williams vs martinez with 2 other mates and our score cards were exactly the same:

    [Round 1]
    10/9 williams
Williams was the busier guy catching more shots and won the round since knockdowns canceled each other out.

    [Round 2]
    10/9 martines
williams didnt catch anything sifnificant, martinez flurried a few times, caught jumping hook twice and was the more agressive and busier guy.

    [Round 3]
    10/10 even
bother men threw bombs, explosive round and both men landed heavily, williams showed his attack was good but martinez showed his deffense countered that perfectly

    [Round 4]
    10/9 martines
martines handed clean flurry, and two hooks early followed by an exchange and holding. snapping jabs from martines that knocks williams head back and williams gets cought with a lot of counters during exchange and lands a good one-two to end round (head butt)

    [Round 5]
    10/9 williams
Willams starts strong firing away, martines duckin n diving away from onslaught. williams gets clocked with a straight right but comes back with a crisp combo which lands flush, then some holding. martinez grabs his shorts and ends up on the floor on top of williams

    [Round 6]
    10/9 williams
williams doing most of the work while martonez dancing, martinez gets wacked with a right and a hook later. williams much more effective here as martinez hardly throw anything worth mentioning. williams finishing round with pit pat combo

(everything feels like its happening in slow motion as the ring girl come out dressed in xmas clothes. god who is she)

    [Round 7]
    10/10 even
martinez looks tired for some reason but is still firing light punches and williams is not throwing anything heavy just flicking jabs and some holding.

    [Round 8]
    10/9 williams
both men are missing big heavy haymakers and holding earlier. williams isjabbing well and circleing and lands a clean combination and takes a knee himself, or was it a slip? matinez unleashed but williams blocks majority and round ends

(i isee the problem now, martines has his hands near his waste and the punches that he should be blocking and making his head snap back and are costing him rounds)

    [Round 9]
    10/9 Williams
matinez jumping in with punches but looks more tired that williams. williams landing jabs and small flurrys.martinez is clearly being worn down although the pucnhes arent looking effective enough

    [Round 10]
    10/9 martinez
matinez throws a few grazing punches followed by hard left and then another one which lands flush. williams missing with a lot of arm hooks, martinez landing some hurt ful blows to body and head as he moves away and ends round strong

(audience shouting call call or soming. must mean somthing else in mexico)

    [Round 11]
    10/10 even
not much happening early in round, later both men throw a few combinations and wild punches some land but majority miss

    [Round 12]
    10/9 martinez
both men busy here but martinez thowing som hurful punches with a bit more power and going to body and is pushed to the ground off balance.both men exchange back and forth and finish strong but martinez is that bit more effective

    FINAL SCORE

    116 williams
    114 martinez

(judge 3) = 119-110 for williams was getting his ***** licked and not watching the fight

All three of you scored two 10-10 rounds? That's a bit odd.

    I had it 114-114 myself.

i think we myt hav influence each other thru our talk but I strong stand by the finsl score we came up with. I see that the other jusges werent too far off becuz obviously people judge on different things, and there can be one round leverage.

Most people dont even give even rounds, they always sway it so somone gets a point

Thx for the detailed analysis. I'd only argue with the 1st round: the two KDs made it even, analyze it however and you'll see Williams' punch landed clearly on the back of Martinez head who was off-balance anyway (flash KD) whereas a clean flush right hand put Williams down who was stunned. Martinez clearly inflicted the more damage. Maybe you could give R8 to Martinez since he stunned Williams at the end, but PDub landed more in that round, it was really a scorers' nightmare.

I had it a draw BTW.

I haven't scored it myself yet but I think I will. Just wanted to mention that for once I agreed with Lederman-scoring it 10/9 Martinez, Williams was hurt when he was knocked down, the kd of Martinez shouldn't have even been called imo, he was hit around the back of the shoulder and it was clearly just balance.

I stopped reading after you gave the first round to Williams, that was a clear Martinez round.

I had it 115-113 Williams but it really could have gone either way.

I agree. Martinez had a flash knockdown from a grazing shot wheras williams was actually hit hard and hurt when he went down. Not to mention that Martinez landed some other huge shots in the round that also hurt wiliams.

I'd agree if the round were even, but Williams pretty much dominated that round for 2:30.

    Abslutely not true.

That one punch was the only thing of significance that Martinez landed in the first round. These guys traded KD's, while Williams clearly had the better round up until the KD's.

Martinez scored the more convincing KD so I can see the Round even, but definitely that one punch wasn't enouh to take the round.

another question i wanted to ask you guys was, after watchin this williams fight what do you think of him now? did he exceed your expectations or did you expect more from his performance?

because I know a lot of people on this forum really gave him the benefit of the doubt in every fantascy matchup. Personally I thought martinez was gona pull of the upset becuase williams was gona underestimate him.

I stopped after reading that there was no williams knockdown clearly 8 rounds to 4 to martinez
clearly a **** load of wiliams nut huggers on this forum

martinez busted him up williams was swinging at air most of the fight and landed a few slaps here and there
