I had it 116-113 for Williams, and I scored it twice. I definitely think Williams was the rightful winner in a tough, close bout. By the way, Martinez isn't Mexican. He is Argentinian.

Giving the first rd. to Williams is as much a travesti as the 119-110 scorecard. Secondly, you state that the 3 of you had the same scorecards???? The 3 of u had 3 even rds??? All the same??? Did u do this while playing Twister at the same time with your "buddies?" If you did, I suggest u rewatch it without any outside distractions, specially if it involves a highly competitive one such as the above mentioned boardgame.

The first round was a clear Martinez round, as he buzzed Williams before the KD, then was down on a simple balance issue getting hit on the shoulder, and in the end knocked Williams down hard, and landed some good shots before. I couldn't believe someone wrote "Williams controlled the first 2:30 of the round". Yeah, by getting punched in the head and not going down, that is ultimate control.

Martinez had 5 clear rounds, 1-3, 8 and 10. Williams had TWO good rounds, 5 and 7. Round 4 was Martinez round for the first 2 minutes until Williams came back in the last minute, but on my card he still didn't land enough in that minute to cancel out how much he was hit in the first 2 minutes.

Williams only wins if you ignore that, and give him each and every garbage round that was in reality too close to score correctly. I would not call someone that capitalizes on his fans giving him every round that "can go either way" the "rightful winner". If that fight had a rightful winner, it was Martinez, a draw would be probably a good "compromise".

I had th first round a draw. knockdown is a knockdown it would not matter if Sergio tripped over his own feet and Paul hit him on the way down it is still a knockdown. I tend to agree that Paul won most of that round until Sergio's knockdown. But Sm knockdown did offset everything. the late "slip of sergio was questionable" it could have scored a knockdown if not carefully watched by the ref. I think it was the right call but sergio was lucky it was called that way.

Round 11 was definitely not a clear round for martinez. I watched the fight. I was there, and I have seen the replay.

    Jack Leow says Martinez won:

“Forget that busy [stuff]; that’s amateur stuff. Half of his punches weren’t landing. You’re supposed to score by the effectiveness of it [the punch]. Just because you throw 98 punches a round doesn’t mean anything. Professional boxing is about who lands the cleaner, harder punches, and I thought Martinez fought the better fight.”

a KD is a KD, they traded KDs in the first round but aside from one KD punch by Martinez it was clearly a Williams round.
You need to get past this hurdle. Both Lederman and Carter gave the first round to Williams. Obviously they don't know what they're talking about either.

Yeah that judge on the far side of the ring obviously could tell that Martinez's was off balance and that the KD was only a grazing shot...

Stop thinking about what you see and think about what a judge would see.
