As for the American crack, yeah you can make me look wrong by bringing about your individual case but generally speaking you know I'm right. The other round that I gave him was 5. Alot of Joe's punches hit gloves while Mikkel landed some crisp punches here and there and in line with the recency effect (powerful in round scoring - ask any judge), Mikkel landed a solid right at the end of the round. Just my opinion. Take it or leave it. The round could have easily gone to Joe but I gave it to Mikkel.
Somehow I knew the Miranda thing was going to come up. Love how you throw dick and ass in there. The subconscious is a powerful thing.
Fair enough on round 5. On the American BS no I don't know your right. Sounds to me like a couple trolls in your individual case has given you substantial reason to paint us all with one brush.
Yeah could be. Beware the trolls. Anyway, Calzaghe vs. Kessler was no epic battle by any stretch of the imagination but it was a good fight. I figured that people like talking about it but in light of recent events with Kessler, nobody seems to be in the mood and the Hopkins fan base is in attack-mode.
You're dead on about Kessler, he needs to do something. Or FFS atleast come out and say something!! But as for me, I AM not a part of no Hopkins fanbase, if you were talking about me that is.
116-113 for Calzaghe (first round even). Joe won clear, though I don't feel as Kessler was completely outclassed like most seem to think. This was a very good fight and is one of my favorite fights to rewatch.
Exactly. I still think that Kessler ist no one less than Nr.2 of the division. But I admit that he has to do something soon...
Wrong wrong wrong Absolutely over-brimming with wrongness. It was HBO lowest ratings for a WCB broadcast. That doesnt take into account hbo BAD or hbo ppv. In fact Juan Diaz vs Julio Diaz a month before it or whatever it was had lower ratings aswell as many others.
wow the contradiction! You are one dumb ****!! :happy mundine is a 'bum' with a title! kessler tko miranda anyway
there were 50,000 people at the fight. I would not expect a fight that is on at 5:00 Eastern time in the United States between 2 European fighters to draw huge numbers on American TV. Let's see how the Calzaghe/Hopkins fight does.
While I do understand your point, it was on at 9-10 PM eastern time, that's why so many UK fans were mad the fight was at like 1am in the morning. Main fault though, could still lie with HBO, as they did **** to promote it but a couple of very short commercials. They could have done a little more themselves.
Marquez-Juarez and Guerrero-Honorio airing on Showtime that same night had a lot to do with the poor numbers in the States for Calzaghe-Kessler. I'm sure, a lot of Hispanics, excluding the die hard fans, tuned into the Showtime card.
Very good point too, and one that has not been brought up that I've read on here. Could have huge reason to hurt the #'s.
