Just watched Calzaghe/Kessler again

    Agree with you 100%. Lacy was so one dimensional it wasn't even funny. That fight was over after a round or 2. Calzaghe went back to his corner and told his dad that Lacy was ****. Kessler was dangerous at all times and Joe had to make adjustments and increase the pressure to pull away. Calzaghe reached a level that only the elite fighters can reach that night and it's a shame that people don't want to give him the credit he deserves. I'm not some bandwagon fan. I always thought highly of Joe but at the same time I was critical of his opponent selection. When he beat Lacy and Kessler in a span of 2 years I stood back and acknowledged just how special a fighter he is. Every major boxing writer was blown away by his performance with Kessler.
