Robin Reid had one really good round, where he landed about 200 right hands -fullstop- This means he landed something like a total of 20 over the other 11 rounds -fullstop- I scored the fight 119-108 -fullstop-
119-108............. i have never laughed so much in my life! idiotic scoring. how far you up calzaghes ass man? reid won by a round.
I may have exaggerated slightly with the scoring, but my point remains the same -fullstop- If you ant to go on punchstats, Calzaghe won -fullstop-
Do you realise that a fight can be 'closely contested' but also 'clear' in the same. I hate how people act like clear and clean 7-5 wins can 'go eitherway' when some absolutely cannot, fights that can go either way have an abundance of something called 'swing rounds'. You could even up Calzaghe to an 8-4 win, because one of Reid's 5 rounds was a 'swing round', this is why two judges had it 116-111, taking the point deduction within the scores. But you're obviously not a Calzaghe supporter, you're looking to stir up the Calzaghe fanbase(because of how loyal and defensive we are) and I will admit that you've done so in a more subtle way.:yep
Do I need to reiterate I am a fan of Calzaghe, I have his filmed career collection (about 5 missing, I dont think were filmed), I just happened to stick the fight on last night and make a few observations. Find any of my 2000 odd posts where i have denigrated Joe in anyway, thats right you cant :good In fairness i thought most the rounds were as you would call "swing" rounds
116-111 was a bit wide for Calzaghe, whatever way you look at it -fullstop- Calzaghe won the fight by something in the region of 2-3 rounds give or take a round -fullstop- Of course, had it happened, Joe would have won a WIDE decision in the rematch at the very least -fullstop-
Thats really starting to annoy me now, it breaks up the flow of any point you are trying to get across...
Have you lost a bet, is this some kind of penance or is the medication finally going to kick in soon?:think
Just yesterday you said that Chagaev struggled with Ruiz and Valuev. You could say exactly the same thing about those fights, which were clear wins to Chagaev. Shows your bias, you are not judging the fighters you love with the fighters you don't the same way.
