I couldnt work out how some people scored that fight, that was a bad display from Hopkins and when he was feeling the pace pretending a low blow to buy time, that was a ***** move. Lets not foget all the holding and head butting. Funny how reff Cortez let Hopkins hold and fight in the inside but didnt let Mayweather fight Hatton in the inside when they both met..

You seem desperate to make it appear I'm the one who's bothered about this. The old reverse psychology, good one. Calling me "dear" and writing "next" at the end of your soliloquies doesn't make them anymore poignant. It's the same as people who write "fact" or "bottom line". They merely punctuate a weak point.

Socrates seems to have deluded himself into thinking he's the superior one here. Amusing isn't it?

I am extraordinarily patient, provided I get my own way in the end.

I must have a prodigious quantity of mind; it takes me as much as a week sometimes to overcome ones apathy towards posters like you.

nice weather we are having today wouldn't you agree?

The truth is that Hopkins only won three rounds and anyone giving him more than that is a little absurd. I said that the day after the fight and I'll say it now.

Hopkins landed the cleaner, more effective blows and was great at avoiding the blows attempted by Calzaghe, but he just didn't do enough and I put that down to the fact that when he started to trade with Calzaghe, he was getting hit more than he's ever been hit before.

For all the talk about Calzaghe and his fragile hands/slaps, not many fighters are willing to walk through to trade with him - that should tell you something.

It absolutely isn't 'the truth' though. The general consensus is that Hopkins won more than three rounds. He won the first three for a start.
