    on Boxnations Great Danes programme...

love watching Kessler fight ,hard as nails with heavy hands and nearly every shot in the book...he landed 3 or 4 fantastic uppercuts

great fight,a fight of 2 halves for me..Kessler landed the better shots but Calzaghe was far busier in 2nd half of fight

much closer than scorecards for me

    fvcking love boxnation

Was a good fight with a very good prime Kessler but the score cards were ok if not generous to Kessler. Calzaghe was awesome that fight

Calzaghe threw a lot of punches and could probably have done 15 rounds but to say he won by 5 or 6 rounds i cant agree...maybe 2 or 3

i would say first 5 rounds Kessler was brilliant and it was after then that Calzaghe changed tactics and Kessler couldnt cope with the pace and shear amount of punches from Calzaghe

But thats what he was all about. At the end of the day he was a volume puncher with a decent chin......thats why he had a great career.

boxing wise he was not great

Boxing wise he wasn't great? He had great angles and good footwork! Some of the stuff he did to lacey the next mike Tyson proves that!

    Based on what ?
The last thing a fighter lose's is his power, Kessler hit Froch with numerous big shots over the two fights and didn't stop him.
NOBODY has managed to stop Froch.

Very close fight but Calzaghe run away with it in the final 3rds.

Two prime SMW at the time........ Not sure Ward would've beaten either of them that night

Calzaghe wasnt prime at all then. He was middle 30s coming to the end of a long career with damaged hands having his last fight at the weight.
Fighters like Calzaghe and Hopkins had a thing where many fighters just dont seem the same after they beat them

Groves BLATANTLY sparked Carl out mid-air in the first until he woke up after hitting the floor.

Watch Carl's face and body... Switched off, mate.
