Cotto really is relentless, his pressure will be tough for most. Judah stunned him on a few occasions, but didn't follow up. Merchant rips on Judah a bit unfairly. Judah showed a lot more heart and chin than most gave him credit for down the stretch. Having said that, Judah complained and rolled around like a ***** a bit too much in the opening rounds. Noone collapses in pain and then is up and at em in 30 seconds, that was a bit overacted. Judah taking a knee in round 9 I think it was, was a very smart move, and probably saved him getting beaten up some more. Cotto seems a bit technically raw, and his defense is slightly lacking. If Judah had thrown MORE as he seems to be needing to every fight of his, he'd probably have caused a lot more damage. Finally, the referee, Mercante I think he was, is a great ref. Encouraging, fair, and makes himself heard in there. Good show. All in all a solid fight.
Oh, and Cotto has a pretty effective jab, I never see that mentioned. Having said that, also a non existant right hand.
Not a bad straight right. Cotto - Judah was a very good fight. I'd give it an 8 out of 10 based on the level of skill, sustained action and ultimate outcome. Corrales - Castillo is a 10 and Mayweather - DLH was a 5
