First of all, in the second round, Campas unintentionally hits the ref flush with a hook on the break. I can't remember seeing another bout in which this happened, but the ref took it surprisingly well. He just gave Campas a 2 second stare, didn't say anything, and let the bout continue. I wouldn't blame him if he gave a point deduction. Has anyone seen another fight where a boxer punches the ref?

I've seen other Duddy bouts, but all they showed was Duddy beating up some overmatched tomato can.

Duddy-Campas was an absolute war, so if you like to see two B quality fighters go to the trenches, watch this bout. Surprisingly competetive, the fight showed a lot about Duddy's weaknesses. Pavlik would murder this boy. Duddy would be an easier match than McKart, Zertuche, and Zuniga, all of which had better defense, faster hands, and brought the fight inside. One of Pavlik's weaknesses is that he can get lulled into in-fighting, despite being a better outside and mid-range fighter. Duddy is a bad in-fighter, so he doesn't even have this working for him. Does Duddy have ANY advantage over Pavlik? His skill level is about the same as Manfredo's, and it's good that this joke of a fight was called off!

Danny Green vs Paul "The Doctor" Smallman.

Quite a heated affair, both punched on after the bell in a round and the ref got dropped. I actually think it was more he was knocked to the ground but Im pretty sure he took a punch at one stage in the melee.

I enjoyed that fight, Duddy got bashed though. Im not saying he didnt do enough to win but he took a serious licking in that fight. That fight cemented my opinion that Duddy was never really going to be a title threat.
What about Campas though? What an amazing fighter, he just keeps on going and is always dangerous.

I agree Pavlik would easily beat Duddy.

Duddy win against Campas was an absolute war.
I enjoyed the fight, but like other said it proved Duddy will struggle when mixing it with the top 8 or so at Middleweight.

yep, duddy will lose to pavlik and many other top middleweights. in fact he really should try to make junior middleweight. he'd have a much better chance at 154. 160 is all wrong for duddy.

kegsy im surprised you have billy the kid in your avatar. to me he is all hype. he'd suffer worse than duddy if he fought top fighters.

and he's a ***** of a person too. still remember that fight were he bit his opponent on the neck. nasty little *****.

i hope he gets KTFO soon. im also surprised moseley co. consider billy worthy of their time!

The score cards in that fight were a complete disgrace.

Jeff Fenech hits Joe Cortez with a pretty good shot in his first fight with Azumah Nelson.

Joe gets hit and from memory calls a break, then it continues.......took it well.

That fight also has a lot of stuff going on in it. Jeff ducks a punch and uses his body to lift Nelson off the mat and slam him down. Nelsons corner loses his mouthpiece :patsch , awesome infighting and controversial, pathetic decision.
