Just watched Gassiev - Wlodarczyk; was the KO legit?

Looked like a dive to me.

Of course you can never tell if you're not in there but that body shot did not look like a bomb. He didn't even land it with the impact part of the glove. The uppercut before it was a good shot but that is not what put him down. Then he did a perfect swan dive and waited until the ref counted him out, WWE.

During the fight the Pole just ran around throwing soft jabs so he wouldn't accidentallyspoil his paycheck. It looked like Waters - Lomachenko, but at least Waters took a little punishment.

I hate to say these things, but face it, a lot of fights are fixed.

Are you saying Walters was a dive against Loma?

As for this fight no dive. Gassiev hurt him with the lead uppercut/hook right before the body shot.

Only clear big fight dive for me lately has been Wilder vs Scott

Was a legit KO clearly but Wlod as I predicted shat it before the first bell and didn't want to engage. Probably one of those legit KOs where it was easy for the fighter to say enough is enough.

I think Floyd Mayweather pays all his opponents to take a dive. I think boxers from the 90’s and 80’s in America took dives.

He took a body shot and splayed out like he was trying to win a gold medal on the Olympic high platform. It looked pretty obvious. When guys get knocked out by body shots, they usually take a knee or fall vertically and curl up tightly holding their ribs. You don't lose consciousness from a shot to the ribs.

No, he was too proud (and too bad of an actor) to "take a dive." Watch the movie "raging bull." Jake LaMotta was paid to take a dive in the fight but he was too proud to go down against Billy Fox so he just took a bunch of punches and waited for the ref to stop it. Funny thing, it the first round he accidentally hit Fox with a hard shot and almost had him out. The gangsters put money on the fight and would have killed him.

It was the same with Walters, he hadn't fought a year before the fight, didn't take a beating and hasn't fought since. For a guy who was supposed to be a puncher he did not throw one hard punch in the fight, all pitty-pats it was obvious. Then he took a few shots and quit. He was all smiles and "aw shucks" after the fight, he didn't care and was probably relieved.

Of course the Lomasexuals will go on and on about how great Chenko is and all that and Waters didn't throw a punch because he was scared, and he is talented, but that was one of the most obvious fixes I've seen in years. Mayweather - Paquiao was another one, but both guys were involved in that one. The richest boxing match in history and neither guy throws ONE hard shot to the head?

Boxing is the easiest sport to fix with only 6 principals, two fighters one ref 3 judges. Been going on forever and always will.

Wish you receive that uppercut Gassiev landed to the body, to prove on your own if that was a dive
