Just watched Hatton vs Magee

    What? you having me on, Mgee just sat on the ropes most of the night, he had a good few rounds at the very best, Hatton clearly won.

    magee dropped hatton if im not mistaken in a war toe to toe no?

    they were mates after the fight im sure.in the ring for photos.that was way back in 2002 eh?

    sad to think if he'd worked harder in that fight how different his career/life could be

    i was at that fight I actually found the program yesterday, yeah Eamon dropped him in the 2nd I think but Hatton swept the rest I think

    Magee dropped him with a right hook in the first, Hatton wasn't badly hurt - it was more a case of Hatton being too amped up trying to kill Magee after a bit of argy bargy in the pre-fight stuff with Magee saying **** about him.

    He was badly hurt in the 2nd though and might have gone down again but for Magee smothering his work a bit and the ref stepping in as they got tangled up.

    8-4 would be about right, 9-3 is acceptable as well.

    Magee did not train properly for this fight and he was a bit of a lazy **** in the ring in general, he was well capable of beating Hatton but he just didn't try hard enough.
