    He's not a bum, he's about 10 miles better than Mohammedi or Caparello.

    I think Stevenson wins, but he's in a fight, the guy just quit his full-time job and he trains full time now. Might be good.

    the male nurse got shut out by Cleverly, the same Cleverly that went life and death with Mohammedi. And he lost to Murat that again lost to Cleverly, by stoppage.

    Now triangles don't always work in boxing, but in most cases they still do.
    Karpency is a blatant cherrypick, and there's no way around that. I can't believe people here actually defend the pimp. Or is it a case of desperately trying to defend the PBC/Haymon.

    Just watched Karpency vs Murat............
    He is a bum,he 's about 10 miles worse than Mahammedi or Caparello.
    Seriously,Muarat, a teak tough German-Armenian with very limited firepower and skills easily beat Karpency dominating every minute of their encounter.
    Karpency for sure doesnt deserve a shot at a world title.

    On the other hand Kovalev would wipe the floor with Adonis if the ever met each other inside a ring,which I very much doubt..... .
    Against karpency Adonis can showcase his skills as the American is a harmless but durable opponent.
    Worthless fight!!!!:-(

    I can call anybody whatever the hell I want to call them, and I call him desperate. Most of GGG's opponents are solid MW's some of them undefeated fighters or close to it, Karpency is middling at best, he was schooled by Cleverly, and stopped by Fonfara. The only reason he looked halfway decent against Dawson was because Bad Chad is Really Bad Chad now. And even then Karpency didn't look that great.

    He's better than Mohammedi or Caparello, but not 10 miles or whatever. He's slightly better that's about it, really ****ty opponent I'm not sure how anyone's defending this... If this was a mando I'd have no problem, Karpency wouldn't be the worst mando to have in the world but this....

    he was nearly knocked out by Fonfara inside 2 rounds (Fonfara seriously hurt his hand in that fight) and basically quit in the 7th round when he was completely gassed

    Sukhotsky, Bika, and now Karpency, great streak, who's next? will Stevenson drag Micheal Spinks out of retirement?

    Well if Suhotsky is that bad, what does that make Mohammedi? (I know, I know, mandatory etc etc).

    I'm not even trying to defend the Karpency mismatch, but I don't remember all these threads when Kova was fighting the likes of Agnew and Caparello in title fights.

    Because those were the best opponents willing to face him at a time on HBO's budget.

    Stevenson deliberately chose an easy opponent!
