    Like who? The two Cubans and PAscal just fought, the promoters haven't gotten him together with Pascal, Alvarez is a stablemate, Brahmer doesn't want to leave Germany, Chilemba fights once a year, and he's already fought Fonfara.

    Last five, Stevenson:

    Karpency
    Bika
    Sukhotsky
    Fonfara
    Bellew

    Last Five Kovalaev

    Mohamedi
    Pascal
    Hopkins
    Caparello
    Agnew

    What's the difference. Fonfara is the best of those guys, you can make a case for Bika being second, and the worst, you can throw Suhtowsky, Caparello Agnew and Mohammedi in a hat and pick one.
    3 are Kovalevs opponents.

    and BTW, I think that Kovalev is a better fighter than Stevenson and would beat him, but it's a dogfight.

    stevenson vs karpency is in toronto
    that's the interesting part as I can't recall a fight of note in toronto ever. be good if the market was open for a second province showing major fights

    Karpency has fought Rayco Sanders 3x. Rayco is a tough guy who gives an inexperienced fighter rounds. He's been stopped once, by Beterbiev.

    How easy do you think it is for a full-time employee on the east coast boxing circuit who is managed by some nobody to get fights

    Fonfara is fighting Clev so I'll give him pass, Kov had mando to fulfill so that's fine too, Beter is coming off Ramadan so unavailable but just about everyone else was FREE

    The original plan was Oosthuizen, he keeps missing weight and crashing motorcycles. Braemmer has never fought outside of Germany, that means he expects to get the lions share of the purse, not happening, Chilemba lost and drew with Bellew, and is from the same SMALL promotional company. Gym is not PBC, so again, how many opitons did he have?

    Yeah, his opponents look amazing on paper. Especially their undefeated records. Which is why GGG stormed into the arena as a 200, 100 and at the very least 80 or 60 to 1 favorite against them. Seriously, you can deceive a lot of casual fans with those highlight reel KOs he's scoring, but hardcore fans see right through it with ease.
