some think of johnson as a heavyweight prospect but that's very unlikely. he has a good jab though but really can't crack an egg. 6 ko's is quite pathetic (the big guy he is he should do better) when you think of the c-d+ opposition he has had. he has a draw against timor ibragimov which is not bad. but he seems so unmotivated when he sees that he is superior than his opponent. he loses interest in the fight and just does enough to win the round. he stares to the floor, talks with his corner during the round, he doesn't have the right attitude to make it to the top. he should really step it up or he will get ko'd by the next b+ fighter and sent to retirement.

Kevin Johnson is easily is the most charismatic HW around, but he has zero power and is overall a pretty ordinary fighter. I saw a video of him getting his ass beat by Povetkin when he was sparring him in preparation for the Bostice fight and after it ended, Johnson said "he's good.. one day he might be as good as me". Then later on a radio show, he said that he was beating Povetkin around the ring when they were sparring and he can't wait to beat him in the pro's. The guy is funny as hell, but he is more of a joke than a real prospect. During one of his matches he was talking to ring card girls in between rounds and also talking to his opponents wife in the audience while jabbing his face off.

That fight with Jarmell Barnes was pretty idiotic as kingpin has all that size but fights like a physically disadvantaged boxer - he would jab and use a cross on Barnes, flurry to the body and moonwalk back to the ropes where he was doing some shoulder rolling, right hand countering and sidewalking along the ropes - extremelly tedious to be crowd pleasing, resourceless to be considered a prospect, just an undefeated american heavy.
