Just watched Khan-Algieri

Anyone that score more than 5 rounds MAXIMUM to Algeiri has no idea what they're watching.

8-4 Khan, clear win

 

There was nothing clear about it. Khan looked like **** in there.

Literally all the effective aggression and clean punches came from Algieri, round after round.

It was a damn close fight.

 

It isn't that Algieri was good he isn't it is Khan is so limited. Hunter has just been keeping Khan away from punchers. As soon as he fights a puncher it is lights out

 

Khan did not look good

But there isn't really a credible case to be made for Algieri winning

Had Algieri been awarded the fight, it would have been an outright robbery

 

8-4 isn't impressive against Algieri. It is quite sad to be honest. Algieri exposed Khan even more than perhaps Prescott, Peterson, and Garcia did.

Yeah thing is Khan barely edged most rounds. I don't remember him dominating a single round. That's why some people call it a draw or even a win for Algieri.

 

Each to his own. IB had it a draw, I disagreed with one round- the 12th I think. Thought it was a very close fight.

I didn't see Khan edging rounds where all he landed where ineffective punches on Algeiri's guard while moving on the back foot like some did. Lot's of Khan's work either hit the guard or were grazing shots, where as Algieri generally landed a few telling clean shots at least each round.

I'm 100% not calling it a robbery, just that I seen a very close fight.

 

He lost a ban bet and seems to have honored it so far.

 

Khan won but it was close. The hilarious thing is if Algieri had ANY power he would have KOed Khan.

Didn't expect that kind of fight from Algieri I made Vcash on the Provodnikov vs Algieri fight as I felt he had the style to cause Provodnikov trouble, and based on that style I felt Khan would win easily, but didn't expect him to change his style so well And fight the way he did.
